This is an executive board position providing management of the Cricket Department including; Men’s, Women’s, Junior & Community Cricket. The Director of Cricket will manage cricket strategy, cricket department budget, cricket facilities, and the cricket leadership team including captains, coaches and operations staff. The Director of Cricket provides a direct interface to the Club Board.
Director of Coaching - Michael Farrell
This roles focus is on delivering high quality training programs for coaches, leaders and players in all teams. The Director of Coaching will help provide a strategy and direction for all teams supporting coaches and captains to deliver high quality training programs. He will also provide individual technical development plans and coaching programs to our development program coaches as well as ensuring we manage our pathway players.

This roles focus is on delivering high quality training programs for leaders and players across the CTPL Men’s program. The Club Coach will work closely with the Director of Coaching to deliver high quality training programs. He will also provide overall logistics management for the senior teams, coaching programs to players and support to other coaches where required. He will also provide a focus on supporting our 2nd & 3rd Grade teams ensuring we are preparing the next generation players for 1st grade cricket.
1st Grade Coach – Brett Geeves
This roles focus is on delivering high quality training programs for our 1st Grade squad. This includes; planning, player development, delivering training & match day operations for the 1st Grade team. He will also provide focus and support for our identified pathway players and support their transition to 1st grade and representative cricket.
Women’s Coach - Roger Hughes (0407325698 firstname.lastname@example.org)
Roger will work with all coaching support staff to ensure training and preparation are delivered to a high standard. He will also manage game day operations for the Women’s Cricket team. Along with All our support staff we are keen to ensure we deliver a quality women’s program, Women’s Development League and girls u15 program.
Women’s Asst. Coach - Janelle Rattenbury
Will support the Women’s Coach in training and match day operations. Includes planning training and game day operations for Women’s Cricket.
Female Cricket Operations Manager - TBC
Manage off field operations for all our female teams ensuring smooth running of our female program and integration with our junior and community programs.
Junior & Community Cricket Operations Manager - Damien West (0400053097 email@example.com)
The Community Cricket Manager will support the Director of Cricket in strategy and planning for our junior program and the community cricket pathway. He will provide Operations Management of these programs as well as providing support for community clubs in the region and programs to develop the talent pathway in the region.
U17 Coach - Steve Old
Steve will work with the Director of Coaching and coaching support staff to ensure training and preparation are delivered to a high standard. He will also manage game day operations for the U17 Cricket team.
U15 Coach - Steve Sillifant
Steve will work with the Director of Coaching and coaching support staff to ensure training and preparation are delivered to a high standard. He will also manage game day operations for the U15 Cricket team.
Game Development Officer (GDO) - Paul Crennan (0449501576 firstname.lastname@example.org)
The GDO, will provide management of the Woolworths Program & teams including support for Coaches, Players and Parents and provide communications to the board. The GDO will manage equipment, recruiting, individual and team development, ensure quality programs are provided to junior players and provide a smooth transition to Youth & Premier League cricket.
Scorers & Match Officials Manager – Roy Loh
Roy will manage our scoring team providing support for recruitment, facilities, equipment and training. He will provide a focal point ensuring compliance and excellence in our online scoring across the club and region. He will also support quality integration of scores to the myCricket database. Roy will also provide an interface to match officials and scorers association as well as helping us develop the next generation of scorers and match officials.
