Glenorchy Cricket Club Management Team for the 2018-19 season

 

General Manager (GM) - Andrew Moore (0408 284 228 baznwenna@bigpond.com)

Reporting to the Board the GM will provide a focus on our key club goals including governance, female Cricket and support structures for the cricket department. The GM will manage our accreditation program including safety and wellbeing of our staff and players.

 

VP & Director of Cricket - Simon Stebbings (0417 693 062 simon.stebbings1@gmail.com)

This is a full executive board position providing management of the Cricket Department. The Director of Cricket will lead cricket strategy, cricket facilities, and manage the cricket leadership team including captains & coaches. 

 

Director Of Coaching - Michael Farrell 

This roles focus is on delivering high quality training programs for coaches, leaders and players in all teams. The Director of Coaching will help provide a training plan for all teams supporting coaches and captains to deliver high quality training programs. He will also provide individual technical development plans and coaching programs to players and coaches.

 

1st Grade Coach - Michael Knight (0439 341 483 michaelknight@comstarsystems.com.au)

This roles focus is on delivering high quality training programs for leaders and players in the 1st Grade Squad. The 1st Grade Coach will work closely with the Director of Coaching and 1st Grade Captain to deliver high quality training programs. He will also provide individual technical development plans and coaching programs to players and support to other coaches where required.

 

Junior Talent & Pathways Manager - Tim Spotswood (0407384959 t.a.spotswood@live.com.au)

He will be responsible for managing the transition and coaching of young talented players looking to transition to representative Cricket or Senior Premier League Cricket. The role is designed to ensure we provide support to our U15 & U17 teams and ensure our players are ready to transition to the next level of cricket. He will work closely with the director of Coaching, other coaches and Cricket Tasmania Development & Pathway staff.  

 

Game Development Officer (GDO) - Paul Crennan (0449501576 pmcrennan@bigpond.com.au)

The GDO, will provide management of the Junior teams including support for Coaches, Players and Parents and provide communications to the board. The GDO will manage recruiting, individual and team development, ensure quality coaching is provided to junior players by the club junior coaching team and provide a smooth transition to Premier League cricket.

 

Women’s Coach - Roger Hughes (0407325698 rogerhughes@bigpond.com) & Captain Alicia Rattenbury (0409613594)

Roger will work with all coaching support staff to ensure training and preparation are delivered to a high standard. He will also manage game day operations for the Women’s Cricket team. Along with All our support staff we are keen to ensure we deliver a quality women’s program and girls u17 program.

 

Women’s Team Manager - TBC

Will support the Women’s Coach for game day operations for the Women’s Cricket team. The Women’s Manager will also work with the Senior Asst Coach/Women’s Coach where possible with training duties.


U17 Coach - Nuwan Kavinda (0450589149 nuwankavinda92@gmail.com) & Tim Leaman

Nuwan & Tim will work with the Director of Coaching and coaching support staff to ensure training and preparation are delivered to a high standard. He will also manage game day operations for the U17 Cricket team.

 

U15 Coach - Steve Old & Jyles Horne

Steve & Jyles will work with the Director of Coaching and coaching support staff to ensure training and preparation are delivered to a high standard. He will also manage game day operations for the U15 Cricket team. 

Community Cricket Manager - Damien West (0400053097 westy1712@hotmail.com)

The Community Cricket Manager will provide strategy and management of the community cricket pathway providing support for community clubs in the region and programs to develop talent in the region.
