Glenorchy CC is part of Cricket Tasmania’s Premier League competition and our home ground is KGV in the City of Glenorchy North of Hobart. Glenorchy joined the TCA competition in 1931. Our club is made up of over 150 players including; professional cricketers, social players and juniors from 5 years upward.

The club has won 32 Club Championships, we won the first of our 16 1st Grade Premierships back in the 1941-42 season with the latest win in 2013-14. 2013-14 was also the year of our CTPL T20 title as well as the statewide T20 victory. Glenorchy was the Kookaburra Cup 50 over Champions in 2015-15,  backing up previous back win's in 2004-05 & 2005-06.

Along with our senior teams, Glenorchy is the home to over 100 junior players, who participate in all levels from ‘Milo Have a Go’ to ‘Under 17’s.  It is through these programs that we are aim to produce future stars that will keep Tasmanian cricket achieving the successes that it has enjoyed in recent times.  Glenorchy in recent yeears has had a number of players who have been successful at senior state level and higher; Brett Geeves, Luke Butterworth, Ed Cowan and Ben Dunk.

The Glenorchy Club logo has evolved from the original G & eagle logo (on the left)  through to the current day G (on the right).
