Glenorchy CC New Cricket Department Setup 2018-19

Glenorchy Cricket Club is excited to name a number of new appointments for our 2018-19 Cricket Tasmania Premier League 2018-19 season.
Michael Farrell - Director of Coaching
Michael Knight - 1st Grade Coach
Nathan Matthews -1st Grade Coach
Damien West -2nd Grade Captain & Community Cricket Manager..
Tim Spotswood -Junior Talent & Pathways Coach
Nuwan Kavinda -U17 CTPL Coach
Tim Leaman - U17 CTPL Ast Coach
Steve Old - U15 CTPL Coach

Jyles Horne - U15 CTPL Asst Coach

Andrew Waller - U15 CTPL Asst Coach

Roger Hughes - Women's Cricket

Janelle Rattenbury - Women's Asst Coach

Roy Loh - Scorer & myCricket Administration

Michael Farrell will bring great experience to our coaching team ensuring we continue to develop coaches and players. Michael has a depth of cricket experience as a former 1st class player and now professional in cricket development with Cricket Tasmania. Michael comes to the club through the ACA Premier Cricket past players scheme.

Michael Knight our 1st grade coach recently received his L2 coaching accreditation and will be a critical part of the KGV coaching team.

Tim Spotswwod will provide additional expertise to develop our talented players as they transition in Premier and Representative cricket.

We welcome a number of new faces in; Jyles Horne, Steve Old, Andrew Waller and Nuwan Kavinda who will be great new assets to the coaching setup as well as returning club legend Roger Hughes who will run the Premier League Women's program for us with Janelle Rattenbury as Asst Women's Coach.

We also welcome back Damien West and Tim Leaman coming home to KGV. Damien will take on a new important role at the club leading our 2nd Grade team and supporting our linkages to Community Cricket.
